Currently, I invest in startups and co-own Saddleback BBQ and Slice by Saddleback, which has expanded to four profitable locations since 2015. Our award-winning BBQ sauces are available at major retailers, and we've been recognized as Michigan's Best BBQ by Mental Floss Magazine, Small Business of the Year by SBDC, and named a "Michigan 50 Companies to Watch" in 2023. I also write and produce a newsletter/podcast called "Year Of The Opposite" where I chronical my journey of self discovery after the death of 3 friends in the span of 5 months. www.yearoftheopposite.com Previously, I served as the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Liquid Web Inc., where I played an integral role in the company's growth over a 10-year tenure. I helped scale the company from a handful of employees to nearly 450, increasing revenue from a few million to $70 million in annual recurring revenues. My responsibilities included marketing strategy, sales management, brand development, and new media advertising. I was also instrumental in launching Liquid Web's proprietary cloud computing platform, Storm On Demand. We successfully sold Liquid Web to a private equity firm in 2015 for $224,000,000. During my time at TechSmith, I held the role of Product Manager for Camtasia SDK. I worked closely with engineers to translate customer feedback into product innovations, created Marketing Requirements Documentation, and traveled globally to engage with customers and partners for strategic sales. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to drive growth, innovate, and achieve success for the organizations I've been part of.
