Bio

Currently Executive Director of the La Salle Center for Entrepreneurship. Responsible for the strategic direction of the Center including academic and non-academic programming; student, faculty and alumni venture mentoring support; and coordinating entrepreneurial and innovation opportunities within our community to our students.Founded Moda Technology Partners in 2005. As President, led fundraising, legal, HR, product delivery, infrastructure and finance efforts to take the company through seed into early-stage phases, raising over $8.5M through private investments, commercial venture capital and venture debt. Exited the business following an acquisition by Lonza Group, a global supplier to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences industries. Lonza is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland and in 2009 had sales of CHF 2.690 billion.Founded The Sycamore Group in 1996. As President/CEO, led the organization to over 1,900% growth in revenues over a three year period. Responsible for corporate strategy and building the infrastructure toward achieving success. Sold business in 2006 to regional consulting firm.Worked as an independent technology consultant from 1995-1996 providing hands-on development and project leadership services to firms in the Philadelphia area.GOALS: Continue to build high-value technology start-up operations and advise others and non-profit firms on their technology investments and strategies.Specialties: Entrepreneurial, start-up formation, operations management, strategic and financial planning, technology strategy, market research, client liasion, marketing, contracts, business/IT alignment
