I'm a hands-on engineering leader passionate about building high-performing teams, disruptive products and massively scalable data systems that make a difference in the world. I run engineering & data science for Stride Funding in Boston which is helping to ensure students get access to the funding they deserve to improve their career outcomes. Over the year I've been fortunate to work on some fantastic teams at extremely high-growth companies in Boston such as Klaviyo, Acquia and Fairmarkit. I've led teams and coded systems that have handled crazy load for massive events such as Black Friday, the State of the Union Address & the Olympics. I believe in a DevOps culture for engineering & data science with cross-functional teams wherein engineers owns the code they ship, data scientists run end to end experiments, and everyone interfaces with customers with empathy.
