Coleen Waldenmayer joined Keller and Heckman in 2012 as a staff scientist, specializing in matters involving the state and federal regulation of chemical substances, pesticides, surfactants, food additives and other products. In particular, she works with antimicrobial, biochemical and agricultural pesticide producers to obtain product approvals, including advising clients on requirements for safety and efficacy data, labels and labeling, and scientific issues that arise as part of the registration process. Ms. Waldenmayer also evaluates databases and data as part of valuation for data compensation purposes under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Ms. Waldenmayer’s qualifications include a degree in environmental studies, extensive certifications in environmental management, and a diverse background in environmental regulations and compliance. Her professional environmental consulting experience includes preparing and managing All Appropriate Inquiry and American Society for Testing and Materials compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Site Investigations, and Transaction Screen Assessments. Ms. Waldenmayer has also prepared reports to satisfy remedial actions under state land recycling programs, clean fill, and vapor intrusion mitigation requirements. Her industrial hygiene experience includes assessment, sampling, monitoring and analytical review of asbestos, lead-based paint, drinking water, radon, and indoor air sampling. She has performed site assessments, underground storage tank closures and removals, and emergency response. She has prepared Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs); Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures Plans; and Pollution Prevention Plans; and assisted facilities in maintaining stormwater management and spill prevention programs.
