Jason is an experienced venture fund manager with a notable track record of empowering entrepreneurship and innovation in New Zealand. Started his venture capital career at Icehouse Ventures, Jason has worked in various positions including co-founding two venture funds in New Zealand. Jason has established a vibrant Chinese investor community, positioning Icehouse Ventures to build the most diverse investor network in the country. Skilled in critical thinking, governance, entrepreneurship, strategy, and investors/entrepreneur relations, Jason has been involved on the board level for a number of start-ups and support their growth. Jason is currently a board member of Learncoach (leading online NECA tuition provider), board observer of Nectar (leading fintech start-up in credit loan) and Jettzy (emerging leader in OTA). Jason has a strong finance and management background with a Master Degree in Business Management from the University of Auckland. He is a visiting scholar of Yenching Academy, Peking University and an EHF fellow.
