Co-Founder and Advisor
Honey Science Corp is a retail store that founded in 2012.
Helped guide the team at Honey through explosive growth, while maintaining all the aspects of a small company that drew entrepreneurial people together. Twenty years of experience leading teams through product release, deal closure, and whatever it takes to get the job done. Managed large teams domestically and abroad, while maintaining the values of a company that match my own: accountability, transparency, teamwork, and blue collar work ethic. I've been fortunate enough to work at some of the best companies in the world, delivering for every part of the business: - Wrote code that was sent to every household in the US for AOL on 3.5in floppy disks. - Built the first email app for Good Technology to sync on high-speed data networks, while patenting the technology for making PalmOS capable of application background processing. Good Technology sold to Motorola, and ultimately Blackberry, our only competitor at the time. - Delivered Microsoft's first version of IPTV for AT&T's U-Verse set top boxes, still in production today with the hardware we designed. - Led release management for the Windows online service, delivering software to over 1 Billion users world-wide. - Led Windows Phone emerging market's development division, driving innovation throughout Asia and Europe. - Head of Gnip's Data Partnership team, securing contracts with the top enterprise companies in the world, ensuring Twitter data was in the hands of the large distribution channels, ultimately leading to our Twitter acquisition. - Successfully founded a company alongside Chamillionaire and secured over $3M in seed funding from Upfront Ventures, SoftTech, and various other notable investors. Built the beta product before transitioning to advisor. - Helped Honey integrate into PayPal after it's record-setting acquisition in Los Angeles.
