I am best known for my ability to cultivate strategies and drive for results. Every day I work to understand the needs and goals of the jurisdictions we serve and align them with the best possible team of professionals to produce effective and efficient outcomes for all involved. My passion is working with a team of professionals to build systems and projects that withstand dynamic stresses. I strive to accomplish this by educating myself, my team, and our clients about opportunities and methods to meet challenges successfully. Thankfully, this is precisely what JEO Consulting Group allows me to do. JEO Consulting Group is a Nebraska-based architecture, engineering, and planning firm focused on cultivating strong relationships with our clients. This relationship-based approach has allowed JEO to work with jurisdictions across the region for over 80 years. We continue to grow, adding staff and services to support jurisdictions in building more robust systems and facilitating a culture of resilience. I teach a hazard mitigation planning course at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in my spare time. The course was first offered in 2013 and has been a part of the curriculum each fall semester since. In addition to my engagement at UNL, I am also a woodworker. Creating custom, handmade works ranging from trinkets to heritage-type pieces.
