Joyce is a strategic and critical thinker willing to make decisions that will drive profitable results. She builds effective relationships and works well in a collaborative environment. Because of her extensive work experience Joyce has proven skills in a variety of areas within the insurance industry which gives her unique insight into the business practices and processes within the industry. She has experience in the major distribution channels: direct writer, independent agent, wholesale. She also has experience in the functional areas of claims management, compliance, product development, underwriting, agency management and operations. She has a passion for teaching, training and mentoring others. For many years she was a member of the National Faculty for the Texas Based National Alliance for Insurance Education teaching classes across the country. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Carolina Upstate teaching Risk Management and Insurance.In her current role Joyce leads and manages executive retained searches focused on the insurance, healthcare and financial services.Joyce is uniquely qualified to serve as an expert witness or consultant within the insurance industry or as a business consultant for agent practices, management practices or operational processes.
