The Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore, was established as a postsecondary institution in 1992. It is a statutory board under the Ministry of Education, Singapore. ITE is a principal provider of career and technical education in Singapore, and the principal authority in developing national occupational skills certification and standards to enhance Singapore's workforce competitiveness, both locally and globally.
With a career spanning across reputable organisations in the private and public sectors over a 19-year period, I am familiar with the entire spectrum of above-the-line and below-the-line marketing and corporate communications activities. In the course of my work, I have accumulated extensive media contacts and built valuable media friendship with regional and local media. I have also completed and launched internationally and locally recognised projects which included Asia’s FIRST life-sized chocolate F1 car in 2008 and a life-sized bread race car in 2009 which gained worldwide exposure and media attention, rebranding of Royal Plaza on Scotts and opening of its F&B outlets, ITE Corporate Fiesta 2012 reaching out to more than 9,000 audience from the community, secondary schools and industry partners, organised the Singapore Youth Olympic Community Celebration in the East in August 2010, etc. I have been supervising a team since Year 2000. Having clinched awards like General Manager’s Award awarded to the most outstanding Department Head, Excellent Performance Award, Best Unit Award, etc, I have been recognised as a top performer throughout my career.
