I'm a senior corporate marketing, corporate communications and investor relations professional, a generalist but with some areas of particular knowledge including technology and financial services. My greatest strength is building new efforts or turning around failing ones. My primary focus is designing and running ongoing programs, although I have done projects when the situation, either crisis or opportunity, demanded them. I have a broad base of knowledge, and I've been a resource (and sometimes a lead) in financial, crisis, employee and other communications engagements. I've also managed engagements that combined public relations with public affairs, legal engagements, and M&A. Recently, my work has focused on designing and implementing programs that use more advanced digital tools drawn from marketing automation to drive better execution, tracking and measurability of public relations and investor relations programs. These unique programs result in a true integration of marketing and communications, and heightened community engagement and measurement on the investor relations side. Parts of my program approach have been highlighted as best practices by Gartner Research/Corporate Executive Board. I don't think out of the box just for the sake of it. I don't shy away from failure, or dress it up to make it look like success. I haven't won any awards: I don't nominate myself for them, and my best work I can't discuss publicly. What I do is build fantastic teams that are open with each other and focused on accomplishment. I constantly call myself into question. Most importantly, I devote 100% of my time, energy and imagination to making my companies and clients successful.
