Vincent van den Boogert (1969) studied business econometrics at Erasmus University Rotterdam (1993), and after completing military service (1994), he joined ING as a management trainee (1995). After various positions in operations and sales he became director Postbank Advice (2001), completed his MBA/MBI at the Rotterdam School of Management (2001) and became Director of Marketing at Postbank (2004). In January 2007, Vincent became member of the executive board of Postbank with the portfolio Marketing, Customer Intelligence and Communications. In November 2007 Vincent was appointed member of the executive board of ING Retail NL (merger of Postbank and ING Bank), heading Product Management. Shortly after, he was asked to move to Istanbul to the transform the recently acquired Oyak Bank into ING Bank Turkey. Starting March 2008 Vincent served as Deputy CEO/Head of Retail in Turkey. After 2,5 years Vincent returned from Istanbul to become Director of Marketing within ING Bank NL, heading Marketing, Customer Intelligence, Commercial Pricing and Communications. His current role as Chief Customer Officer has been assumed starting November 2014. In this position Vincent is responsible for all customer experiences. From mobile and internet to branches and from the segments youth, retail, personal and private banking to self-employed and SME. Offering frictionless, convenient services and expert advice to ING’s 8 million customers, empowering them to be financially equipped to stay a step ahead in life and in business.
