I am an engineering director for the Mobile Banking App of ING Bank in the Netherlands. I am end to end responsible for development of new features, operational stability and continuity of ING Bank NL's service through the banking app for 7+ million ING Bank customers in NL. Day to day operation means providing technology (/ finance / HR / IT Risk / strategy) leadership for 100+ developers, engineering managers, integrators and other staff in Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Romania and Manilla/ Philippines. •• Software developer by origin & heart. Recognised at ING Bank as ambitious tech leader. Completed several deliveries with complex digital flows in (cross border) multi-stakeholder environments at ING Bank NL & BE Strong emphasis on one learning organisation, transition at large scale towards microteams (and other team topologies), containerised cloud environments with acknowledged, verified results. As member of sr. Tribe Leadership Team, I align business and technology roadmaps in a multidisciplinary MT in an enterprise (banking) environment. Frequent speaker at international tech conferences (Qcon London, Codemotion, GoTo Conf, Jfall NL, NextGen Tech) •• From 2019 till early 2022, I held a (cross border) Tech leader role where I was responsible for IT delivery of all digital flows around private and business (SME) accounts of ING Bank customers in Netherlands and Belgium, on ING's primarily mobile, but also human channels (branches). Providing technology leadership for +- 24 teams, +- 160 FTE. I am a fan of sci-fi movies, sci-fi writers like Stanislaw Lem, Phillip K. Dick or Cyberpunk genre and I can endlessly talk about it.
