A highly self-motivated individual with wide-ranging commercial and academic experience in Life Science: Business Operations Manager; Biotech/Pharma equity research analyst; Tech equity research analyst; Pharmaceutical market researcher; Wellcome Trust-funded postdoctoral biomedical research leader. A well-organised team worker with a strong work ethic valued by managers and colleagues. Currently Infectious Disease Business Operations Manager at Immunocore Ltd. Contributing to the Infectious Disease business unit strategy as well as the operational and R&D implementation of the strategy. Leading efforts to explore additional indications. Business development activities through discussions with Pharma, government and research charity partners. Previous to my current role, I was a Consultant Analyst to the investment banking sector, specialising in Life Science and Technology equities, having been contracted back to a brokerage at which I was previously employed as a Biotechnology Analyst. My responsibilities included reviewing clinical trial data and product pipelines of small to mid-cap Life Science companies, analysing industry trends and emerging news items, maintaining forecasting/financial models using various valuation methodologies, writing investment recommendations for institutional investor clients, road-showing companies and participating in corporate finance meetings relating to IPOs/secondary placings I hold a doctorate and an MSc from Oxford University (Subject: Emerging Tropical Viruses and Integrative Bioscience respectively) and was a Wellcome Trust-funded post-doctoral research leader in emerging disease at the Natural History Museum, London, collaborating with leading research institutes in Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia, with 29 peer-reviewed published papers.
