Executive Profile: Thirty year's experience in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries covering a wide range of therapeutic areas and development phases I to IV. I am currently Chief Development Officer at F-star Therapeutics, where I am responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing the delivery, execution and management of multiple concurrent Oncology clinical trials in the portfolio and broader development strategy. I oversee the Company’s drug development functions involved in all phases of clinical development. Prior to F-star, I was CDO at Ellipses Pharma where I held similar responsibilities, looking after Phase I to Phase III trials. Prior to Ellipses, I was at Immunocore Ltd where I was responsible for the development of compounds from first in human studies through to filing and approval for a portfolio of Immune Oncology compounds. At Immunocore, I built a highly flexible, global development organization utilising in house functional expertise and an outsourced Functional Service Provider model. Prior to Immunocore I have held the following senior positions; Chief Development Officer - Creabilis Pharmaceuticals; Development Team Leader - Pfizer Pharmaceuticals; VP European and Asian Development Operations - Pfizer; Head of project management Europe and Asia - Pfizer. I have worked in a wide variety of senior functional and matrix management roles, demonstrating strong operational goal focus and motivational leadership skills. I thrive in an environment of multiple challenges and time bound delivery. I have led cross-functional teams to deliver three successful multinational filings. My leadership skills have been widely recognized at senior levels and utilized to resolve delivery and performance issues. I am seen as a motivational leader, setting clear expectations around delivery.
