I am a seasoned people leader, strategist and operations leader. I am passionate about the employee experience. I want to assure employees are focused on their job and not the delivery of pay or benefits. As a Director of Human Resources Services at Humana Inc., I lead a team of focused and strong leaders that deliver Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding, HR Record Management and HR System Administration for 50,000+ employees. We take pride in delivering in a shared services model that has employees in 50 states and Puerto Rico. Over the years, I have been given the opportunity to live the Corporate dream. I started as an Employment Tax Clerk and have proven my leadership skills to lead a team of 55+ employees delivering various Human Resources services. My leaders have proven their leadership skills by being honored as Culture Champions at Humana. I learned through my various positions that I love the combination of employee operations and HR systems. I was a key leader in implementing many of the Humana HRMS, HR Systems and HR Self Service functionality over the past 10 years. During the implementation, I was known to write user stories, requirements and vision and scope documents. I assisted in the Project Management for various HR IT projects and enjoyed the experience of delivering a quality product. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Louisville. My career started working with Corporate Payroll Taxes and reconciling ledger accounts. My leadership grew to lead the Payroll team at Humana allowed me to gain my Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). I also gained experience in Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Talent and Performance. This allowed me to pass the SPRH and SHRM SCP certification on the first attempt. I have a passion for anything payroll, benefit, HR Systems and employee experience. I am interested in contacting with anyone with like passions.
