I am a professional Real Estate Investor that specializes in wholesale, rehab and sell and turnkey rental strategies. I have accomplished something which very few real estate investors can claim: I've survived and profited through one of the most tumultuous times in the history of modern real estate. Chicago suffered an average decline of 30% in market value from its peak. In some lower income neighborhoods the drop was as low as 50%-70%. However, I was determined to succeed. I re-imagined my business (several times), made tough decisions and the necessary changes, but I kept my company moving forward at a time when the majority of real estate companies were folding. In 2008 I even had to raise my own funds for acquisition and rehabbing when my credit partners stopped lending money due to the credit debacle.
