Stephen Propst is a partner in the International Trade practice at Hogan Lovells. He specializes in regulatory issues related to export controls, economic sanctions, and U.S. national security policy. Stephen specializes in complex issues under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR"), Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") and the economic sanctions regulations administered by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). He serves clients in a wide range of industries including: satellite, telecommunications, higher ed, automotive, aviation, software, medical products, chemicals, and many others. Stephen also serves on U.S. Department of State's Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy, Sanctions Subcommittee. Stephen is also active in nonprofit and charity roles, serving as a co-chair of Hogan Lovells' global matched giving program known as "Touch" and serves as a member of the board of directors of Gifts for the Homeless, a DC-area non-profit.
