Heartland Payment Systems, Inc. provides bank card payment processing services to merchants in the United States and Canada. This involves facilitating the exchange of information and funds between merchants and cardholders financial institutions, providing end-to-end electronic payment processing services to merchants, including merchant set-up and training, transaction authorization and electronic draft capture, clearing and settlement, merchant accounting, merchant assistance and support and risk management. It also provides additional services to its merchants, such as payroll processing, gift and loyalty programs and paper check processing. Mark has worked in the merchant service/credit card industry for over 20 years specializing in complex sales and service. Mark has over 15 years working with federal, government and institutional credit and debit card payment processing. His experience includes working with state, city and local municipal agencies, utilities, emerging markets, universities, colleges and not-for-profit accounts. Mark specializes in bill solutions that include but are not limited to; web-based, point of sale, mobile, IVR/phone and virtual programs Mark also has experience working with gateway providers and middleware companies to ensure conversion initiatives are seamlessly implemented. Mark specializes in convenience fee, surcharge and service fee clients. In addition, Mark is an expert on encryption, tokenization, EMV and PCI DSS security standards.
