Heartland Food Products Group is a global leader in the consumer packaged foods industry, supplying store brand solutions for the retail and foodservice markets. Products include zero calorie tabletop sweeteners for hot and cold beverages and granular sweeteners for both tabletop and baking use. Heartland is also a pioneer in the emerging portable liquid beverage mix category. Products are manufactured in the USA and distributed throughout the North America, Europe, Central and South America, and the Pacific Rim.
With over 20 years of experience, I am an executive leader with expertise in global sales strategy, marketing, revenue growth, and new business development. My experience includes identifying opportunities for new business development and global expansion for leading companies within the consumer-packaged goods industry. Throughout my career I have worked with companies including Pillsbury, Clorox, Danone, Heartland Products Group, McNeil Consumer Products, and Kraft. Most notably, I have supported sales and launched new products including Clorox Wipes, Clorox Ready Mop, DanActive, ActiviaLight, and Danimals Crush Cup. Through my blend of experiences, I have gained a unique ability to identify opportunities for growth on a global scale. Outside of go-to-market and new product launches, I have deep expertise in leading multi-year organizational and business development strategies. Currently, I serve as the President and Chief Operating Officer for Heartland Food Products Group. Initially hired to redesign the sales organization, I have spent the last 10 years in various leadership roles. Since joining the team, I have grown the company to achieve uncharted revenue growth and headcount to 1200 employees. In this role, I work with C-level customers at Walmart, Sam’s, Kroger, Safeway, Aldi, Walgreens, Starbucks, and others to drive new business development and meet growth goals both short- and long-term. As a leader, I have coached and mentored teams ranging in size, with up to 400 employees in my current role. I am passionate about building relationships, cultivating strong organizational cultures, and leveraging employees’ individual strengths to achieve uncharted levels of success for my team, our company, and our customers.
