When I grew up I thought about being a dentist. Why? I figured I could positively impact others'? lives by helping them with their smiles. Far from being a dentist now, I still get to make an impact on others, but in a different role and field.|Having traveled abroad to countries such as Costa Rica, Holland, Singapore, and China, I developed a multi-faceted perspective in tackling business challenges. I found a niche in which I could utilize my 4+ years of experience in education and HR, combined with my extensive travel experience, to comfortably interact with culturally diverse groups of individuals.|In the Blinds.com Talent Acquisition/HR team, I connect top talent to purpose-driven roles. As a 'Specializing Generalist', I primarily function as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, but provide support in other HR areas. I often experiment with new tools and channels of recruiting to effectively adapt to the changing job market landscape. By bringing a more human-centered, personalized approach to the recruitment process, I build strong relationships with a variety of high-caliber professionals.
