Senior Vice President, Advanced Advertising Product and Data Analytics of Cablevision Media Sales (CMS), the division responsible for local television and online advertising sales across 3M+ households in the NY DMA. Appointed to this role in January 2014, she is responsible for developing products with Cablevision’s advanced technology and other commercial and technology partners to generate growth opportunities for the company’s advertising sales force. She is also charged with accelerating Cablevision’s growing data business and advanced advertising product portfolio, while overseeing the following groups: Strategic Data Solutions, Media Insights & Analytics, Audience Measurement and Advanced Advertising Products. Ms. Koester started her career with Cablevision as an attorney in the legal department. She most recently served as Cablevision’s Vice President of Privacy, Product Management and Subpoena Compliance, where she served as a trusted legal advisor on data governance issues and implemented comprehensive data management procedures to promote consumer privacy. Ms. Koester also spearheaded the creation of the company’s privacy working groups and provided business conscious legal advice on complex privacy maters including interactive advertising, mobile initiatives, ISP activity and behavioral advertising. Prior to that role, Ms. Koester served as Cablevision’s Senior Counsel of Privacy, Product Management and Subpoena Compliance, and as Counsel for Rainbow Media Holdings, where she was tasked with providing guidance on a variety of television network programming issues including pre-broadcast script review, rights clearance, talent issues and affiliate arrangements.
