Vish Narendra is an experienced technology and business executive with global experience in IT, business strategy, acquisition integration and digital business transformation with domain experience in consulting, software development, manufacturing and supply chain. Vish has a deep and diverse background, currently serving as CIO & SVP, Global Business Services of Graphic Packaging International, a global paper packaging company. He is leading the digital transformation of the business through factory automation, S&OP and supply chain optimization - on track to deliver $50MM+ working capital and margin improvements. He has also been responsible for building an e-commerce model for the company that has delivered ~$10MM+ in new channel sales and built digital marketing capability to capture growth in emerging market segments. As CIO, he has created a holistic enterprise risk approach, integrating SOX, governance and cyber security to strengthen GPI’s risk posture. Prior to this role, Vish served as CIO for multiple business segments over a span of nearly 15 years at The General Electric Corporation during times of rapid international growth. This included an expatriate assignment in Asia as CIO for GE Energy and GE Aviation, as well as M&A work in Europe for GE’s $14B acquisition of Alstom. Vish’s Board experience includes current Board Director position with Whitecap, a PE backed construction equipment and materials distributor (serving on the Audit and Nominating & Governance Committee) as well as 7 years as Board member and 3 years as Board Chair of TechBridge Inc, a non-profit delivering innovative technology solutions to break the cycle of poverty. In this role, he has lead a national CEO search, provided operational guidance through search process and on the compensation, development and technology committees. He is currently a Board member for the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, a non-profit working to build girls of courage, confidence and character.
