I am an assurance partner with more than 25 years' experience helping dynamic businesses achieve their strategic goals and potential for growth. Working across the South from our locations in Southampton, Reading and Oxford, my clients range from fast-growing, privately capital and PE-backed businesses to international and listed groups. I lead our Audit focus in the UK for businesses backed by Private Capital. I'm a passionate advocate of the power and importance of medium-sized businesses, their influence on the UK economy, ability to outperform their peer group and develop successfully in new markets internationally. Having always focused on growing businesses, I recognise that change and transition is a constant. I share the insights and knowledge I have gained throughout my career to guide those I work with through the opportunities and challenges they face. I firmly believe that people, leadership and culture lie at the heart of success and a key part of my role is building great relationships and helping people achieve their potential. I am an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) accredited Coaching Practitioner and enjoy working with individuals and teams across a wide range of sectors and organisations. I am a member Grant Thornton UK's Partnership Oversight Board, Risk and Assurance and Remuneration Committees and of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Royal Yachting Association - RYA. Outside of work my time is largely occupied by my wife and two young children, and contentment is found in anything involving boats and water.
