GPD was my first internship experience and I was immediately drawn to the company’s entrepreneurial spirit. It was a place where a young engineer could test their ideas, collaborate with the best in the industry and work to improve their community. Early in my career, I worked as a structural engineer within our Telecom Practice and learned to evolve with the changing technology. As the industry shifted from 3G to 5G, focus was spent more on-site development, right-of-way engineering, electrical design and various fields of engineering that all support the rapid deployment of infrastructure outside of the typical “Tower in a Farm Field”. As Director, I oversee a group of Program and Project Managers that provide infrastructure solutions for the major wireless carriers, tower owners, and internet service providers across the nation. I’ve had the benefit of working with many great clients and colleagues in my 13+ year career, allowing me to learn from the best in the industry and to implement effective processes with our teams. My team has successfully managed the deployment over 200+ route miles of fiber, 3,000 small cells and 1,000 macro cell towers across the United States. I also maintain an active role in quality assurance / control of structural analysis work and A/E design drawings.
