I’m currently serving as Director of Volunteer Programs with Global Brigades, Inc. It’s exciting to help lead the world's largest health and sustainable development organization, tapping into my skills in directing, strategic planning, and team-building. I’m proud to have managed and grown the volunteer programs within Global Brigades since 2011. It’s so rewarding to inspire university students to get involved in the international community, motivating them to take advantage of global opportunities available to them, while balancing the needs of our in-country partners and beneficiaries. I manage teams across four different countries who are responsible for preparing nearly 10,000 volunteers annually to participate in seven- to nine-day skill-based brigade programs. As a globally minded professional, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to split my time between Global Brigades' international offices, working alongside the teams in our Central American and African locations. I've also represented the organization at national conferences, and been a keynote speaker at multiple conferences and trainings across the United States and Canada. I’m eager to further hone and apply my skills in: • Team management • Global/international relations • Liaison on behalf of university students to international leadership • Spanish proficiency • Volunteer organization • Project management • Public relations • Public speaking • Establishing new offices • Nonprofit management
