Vaibhav is the Co founder of ftcash, a PayPal backed fintech startup serving the underserved micro-merchants in India through mobile payments and loans. Previously, he was a Director, Global Development at XPRIZE, leading India’s first global prize that targets the problem of access to water. Vaibhav has spent last 9 years working in the areas of policy and strategy across over 5 countries and 22 states in India with organizations such as World Bank, Lodha Group and ZS Associates. In 2010, the Swiss Bank, LGT Group selected Vaibhav as an iCATs Fellow. Vaibhav was also selected as a Swaniti Fellow (2012), awarded ‘Power 30 under 30’, USA (2012) and Global Shaper by World Economic Forum (2014). Vaibhav sits on the advisory board for US-India Investor’s Forum, Consulate General of US in Mumbai. Vaibhav is an engineer from National Institute of Technology, Trichy and an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School.
