As Director of I.T., I took on the responsibility to bring innovations and optimizations to the companies that I have developed over my 20+ years of experience. I designed and oversaw the revamping of the support and engineering teams to be able to grow and maintain an enterprise environment with the minimal amount of headcount. By creating multiple teams with overlap between each level, creating a cross training program, and fostering a better work environment the corporation has experienced large returns. At the same time, I oversee the technology budget for a 1B+ company to upgrade and standardize the entire company by simplifying administration, increase technology uses, continuously assess and upgrade critical infrastructure and security needs, look for or create new vertical integrations, and provide a constantly improving user experience. As FirstService Residential uses a regional approach, being able to build exceptional relationships with executive teams, field personnel, and associates in general have been instrumental in getting all stakeholders on board with initiatives.
