Aristotle said, 'All human actions have one or more of these seven causes: chance, nature, compulsions, habit, reason, passion, desire.'​ These seven causes have driven me to find purpose in more than one area of professional work.It is by chance that I came to San Francisco to begin my journey studying nursing, where I found that I was naturally compelled to reach outside of my comfort zone of routine medical procedures. Out of habit I continued to study medicine, yet branched out to biology because I wanted to perform extraordinary medical work.My desire for risks took me to South Africa for 5 weeks, where I studied as a medical resident in Cape Town. As a medical resident, I discovered that medicine is much more than what you practice in the operating room and that to provide the best care possible, I would need to learn about health care legislature and study the sociology that creates national and international health care laws.In a world so driven by technology, I reasoned that perhaps there is more than one way to bring about the change I desire to see in the world. Inspired by the philanthropic spirit of local tech companies, I’ve used my experience in medicine and law to bring incredible consumer experiences to those who need it most though technology. I am refocusing my passion to help others with marketing and consumer experience as an outlet while continuously using my imagination to create content within businesses, as well as in my own life, that I’m proud of.
