With over ten years of experience in insurance underwriting operations, I have learned a great deal about the importance of the relationship between an Underwriting Associate and their Underwriter(s). Over the years, I have gone through great lengths to ensure that every Underwriter I have worked with has had all of the resources necessary to perform at the highest level. This involves every kind of support from staying on top of my own tasks, to volunteering any assistance I can offer my Underwriter to ensure our success as a team. This has allowed me to learn many underwriting skills that continue to benefit myself as well as my team around me. I believe a great attitude, a relentless desire to succeed, and passion for our work drives the best qualities out of each individual. From an early age, the values of hard work, determination, and ambition have been ingrained in me as the necessities of success. In addition, leadership experiences have given me an edge in the professional business environment. These character traits, in combination with my skills and experience, make me particularly well suited for a role in Underwriting.
