Tamra Matrone, is a Sr. Director of Compliance at Foodbuy with demonstrated leadership strengths. She has the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines. She led her team on an initiative that recognized the business 20 million annually in revenue. She successfully brokers relationships to make connections between people, creating partnerships and alliances that stimulate forward momentum to ‘get things done.’ Tamra was promoted to Sr. Director at Foodbuy, the group purchasing organization (GPO) for Compass Group. Prior to this position, Tamra held the BuySmart Manager position, Compliance Senior Manager and Compliance Director positions, successfully implementing new technology that allowed her department to double its workload without adding additional resources. Tamra has 20 years of management experience and has spent the past 20 years within the foodservice industry refining processes and finding efficiencies for her teams. Tami is the recipient of a 2 “Be a Star” awards, People First Award and a “Do What It Takes” award. She has successfully completed two leadership classes Meridian and Emerging Business Leaders. She received her degree from Campbell University, is an active member of Toastmasters, volunteers at her daughter’s school and is an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
