I am a biologist, communicator, and builder. Through the Funding Lab post-program for FI Alumni, my work at the Founder Institute supports actively fundraising entrepreneurs from across a global network of 6500+ portfolio companies. As an entrepreneur, I am obsessed with the dawn of the Anthropocene, and what it means for the future of our planet and the human species. While not always the very first 'early adopter' myself, I try to be an 'early understander,' always hunting to be among the first to digest how emerging science, tech and innovation can work to change everyday norms or move markets. As a writer and science lover, I am especially interested in intersections across ecology, synthetic biology, food and agriculture, hardware and materials, energy, and product lifecycle sustainability.
