During this time he led efforts to institute technology professional development training for teachers and worked with Governor Angus King to establish one of the nation's first one-to-one laptop initiatives. As Chairman of the Utilities and Energy Committee, he facilitated a major expansion of the wiring of schools and libraries across the State. Following his time in the Legislature, Tom became a venture capitalist and helped develop the fund network at Village Ventures. Davidson has also led numerous investments in minority owned businesses and technology companies. Tom is a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and Bowdoin College.
