Lee serves as SVP of Finance for Ergon, Inc. Ergon is a petroleum energy company headquartered in Flowood, MS, employing over 3,000 individuals throughout the US and world-wide. Ergon specializes in crude oil processing and the transportation and marketing of specialty oils, asphalts, and chemical products. Lee directs Ergon's Finance Department and is responsible for the company's financial planning & analysis, financial performance & measurement, M&A activity, lender relations, treasury and credit functions. In addition, he serves as Chair of Ergon's Senior Management Team. Lee joined Ergon as the VP of Internal Audit in 2011 after a 20+ year career in public accounting. During his career, Lee has developed specialized knowledge in the areas of oil & gas exploration & production, petroleum refining, wholesale distribution, construction, investments, business acquisitions & divestitures, business financing, and employee benefit plans. Lee is a member of the following professional organizations - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), Council of Petroleum Accounting Societies (COPAS), Petroleum Accounting Society of Mississippi (PASM), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He has been an active member of the greater Jackson community for over 30 years.
