EMD Serono is the biopharmaceutical division of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, a global pharmaceutical and chemical group. Neurodegenerative diseases, fertility and metabolic endocrinology, as well as oncology are our core therapeutic areas.

I am passionate about delivering therapeutic interventions to patients with limited options via clinical studies with the highest quality and compliance standards. I have worked six years as a Medical Affairs Manager and ten years in large pharmaceutical companies. My career began at the research level and grew into program governance oversight of investigator initiated and company sponsored studies in oncology and immuno-oncology. I also enjoy conveying information in innovative, clear and effective formats for training purposes. •Experience working with over sixty countries in a matrixed multi-cultural environment, regularly using overseas living experience and Portuguese language skills •Country-specific regulatory and compliance knowledge •Database building and implementation including creating User Requirement Specifications (URS) and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) •Developing and facilitating behavior-based trainings (received award from International E-learning Association 2020), including IIS and Department visibility trainings •Developing metrics and reporting
