EMD Serono is the biopharmaceutical division of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, a global pharmaceutical and chemical group. Neurodegenerative diseases, fertility and metabolic endocrinology, as well as oncology are our core therapeutic areas.

As a global corporate and healthcare communications leader, I have extensive experience building corporate and brand awareness at leading bio/pharmaceutical companies. I have taken my passion for the patient to successfully direct integrated communications programs that have propelled 20+ leading brands across various lifecycle stages and therapeutic areas (oncology, cardiovascular disease, neurology, mental health, metabolism, autoimmune disorders). I enjoy leading teams to build and create impactful integrated strategic marketing communications initiatives, social and digital communications campaigns, and public health partnerships that engage consumers and physicians—driving brands swiftly to market and supporting their business performance. I am skilled in the areas of product and pipeline communications, BD&L, executive and employee communications, financial messaging and Q&A, social and digital media, and external communications. I support my teams through regular coaching and helping them to build their skills to become strong strategic communications partners & leaders.
