I am a seasoned technology leader that has excelled at envisioning, constructing and driving digital strategies that create value while sparking excitement through digital innovation. I believe transformation begins with curiosity, asking the right questions, dot-connecting, and helping people see the big picture. I have been recognized as a pioneer & maverick throughout my 32-year career at Eastman; asking those questions, connecting people/ideas, setting new vision, and leading digital/cultural transformation. In 2013, I envisioned, championed, and continue to lead Eastman's Data Science organization. This organization includes Eastman's AI/Machine Learning technology function, our Applied Statistics group, our Operation Research Scientist, our Business Analytics consultants, our Business Intelligence team, and our Enterprise Information Management department. In this role, I provide vision and strategy for all data management activities; including global data management, governance, enterprise data quality, and oversee our Enterprise Information Management program. I am currently responsible for building Eastman’s first Digital Products organization with a mission to work with senior business leadership across the company to introduce customer-facing digital platforms and services to generate new revenue, enable new business models, and create market differentiation for Eastman products. In 2020, this organization launched Eastman's first digital product, Core by Eastman Performance Films. Core is a cutting edge, patent-pending, analytics-based software platform for film installation. With all these digital products (and several in earlier stages), we are focused on hard to replicate solutions, striving to reshape entire markets.
