The DuPage Medical Group is one of the largest, physicianowned, multispecialty health care companies in the Midwest. The company employs more than 250 professionals and specializes in a range of medical and surgical areas. It serves residents in DuPage, Kane and Will counties in Illinois through over 35 locations. The company is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital, Edward Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and Delnor Community Hospital. The DuPage Medical Group specializes in the areas of audiology, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology and neurology. It also provides diabetes care, optometry, psychology, physical therapy and orthopedic services. In addition, it offers spinal, vascular, plastic, foot and ankle surgery solutions.

Steve Nelson is the Chief Executive Officer of Duly Health and Care, where he works collaboratively with the leadership team and Board of Directors of the physician group to set the strategy for the organization to deliver on its promise of making healthcare better for patients and the communities served. For more than 30 years, Steve has been dedicated to improving the healthcare system for both patients and clinicians through his experiences at both payer and provider organizations. Prior to joining DMG, which was rebranded to Duly Health and Care in September 2021, he served as the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, a $190 billion division of UnitedHealth Group. During his 15-year tenure, he served in key leadership positions in both the Commercial and Government businesses and drove efforts that resulted in increased growth, employee engagement and customer satisfaction. Steve also brings significant provider experience, having served in a variety of executive roles with Henry Ford Health System and Intermountain Healthcare. Steve and his family are active in their community and the outdoors. Steve, himself, is an avid triathlete and five-time IRONMAN finisher, including the IRONMAN World Championship. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Portland State University and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan, where he serves as an adjunct professor in the school of public health.
