Christopher joined DonorsChoose.org in 2012 and currently leads the Brand & Communications team, which manages media relations, social media and content marketing, events and experiences, marketing partnerships, brand design, disaster relief efforts, and crisis management. Major projects at DonorsChoose.org have included #BestSchoolDay, a partnership with over 60 celebrities and influencers that helped raise over $16 million for classroom projects; the announcement of DonorsChoose.org as one of Fast Company's 'Most Innovative Companies in the World;' DonorsChoose.org's partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Think It Up roadblock telecast; and the organization's annual Partner Summit, featuring speakers including Stephen Colbert, Sheryl Sandberg, and Ashton Kutcher. Prior to joining DonorsChoose.org, Christopher led public relations for Magellan Health Services, a specialty health care provider in behavioral health, imaging, and pharmaceutical management. He began his career in the Global Healthcare practice of MSL Group, executing public relations strategy for international pharmaceutical clients, including the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care sponsorship of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
