I’ve worked at DISH Network for the last decade and love any chance to talk about how I’ve taken advantage of our biggest value proposition, opportunity! Growing from an entry level talent acquisition role, to a strategic HR leader who works alongside our executive team, I am passionate about the culture of the company, the work we are doing, and most importantly the people I get to do it with. Some things I enjoy most in my current role – • Developing and executing talent management plans in partnership with the business to ensure that our best talent is placed in the right positions through targeted recruiting, performance management, succession planning and on-going development. • Developing my team of Strategic HR Business Partners as they partner with our executive team to influence and improve upon the employee experience. • Researching and recommending progressive human capital initiatives to enhance overall organizational effectiveness towards the goal of meeting strategic business goals. Including evaluating org design and making recommendations to optimize performance, efficiency and cost effectiveness. • Being data focused. My gut instincts are good, but I seek out data to drive decision making and action taking. • Working with our Compensation and Total Rewards teams to develop targeted strategies for attracting and retaining top talent in addition to partnering with the People Operations Team to support the expansion of our HR Service Delivery Model. • Demonstrating brand ambassadorship and cultural alignment. Leading by example with our culture and values always at the forefront.
