DiscoveryNR is a private production company headquartered in Denver and operating in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas & Utah. Operations represent a mix of development and exploration opportunities with oil, natural gas and natural gas liquid reserves.

Joined Amoco’s upstream operation in 1980, serving in various HSE roles in Wyoming, Colorado and Texas. I moved into HSE managerial roles in Denver and Houston prior to becoming Amoco’s Corporate Director of Safety in 1992. Following the Amoco /BP merger in 1998, I served as the HSE Manager supporting BP’s Gulf of Mexico production operations. After supporting the Gulf of Mexico Operations for 11 years I retired from BP in the summer of 2010. I joined HighMount E & P in 2011. HighMount E & P was sold in 2014 and I joined Discovery Natural Resources as VP of HSE. In January of 2020, I retired from Discovery and started Keystone Environmental & Safety Consultants. I hold a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Missouri and a MBA from the University of Colorado. My wife, Angela, and I have three children.
