Jon Williams concentrates his practice on representing tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate. Areas of expertise include acquisitions/dispositions, lease negotiation/renewals, site selection/build-to-suit analysis, state incentive assessment and transportation analysis, amongst others. Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, Jon has consistently been a top producer, which earned him an invitation to be a part of the Rising Leadership Council (“RLC”). The RLC provides the CEO and CEO of Americas for Cushman & Wakefield with many of the company’s most important initiatives and policies, which impact the company’s strategic direction. Jon is also a graduate of Cushman & Wakefield’s Emerging Broker Training Program (EBT). This program consists of the top 50 young brokers from North America who study future trends, challenges and developments occurring within the commercial real estate marketplace. Recently, he was awarded Real Estate Forum’s Top Broker award and in 2012 & 2015, the CoStar Power Broker Award. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Jon worked with Weichert Commercial Brokerage. He started his career in construction as an electrical apprentice for IBEW Local 102. With construction playing a pivotal role in today’s real estate landscape, Jon’s firsthand knowledge and expertise of buildings and their systems has proven instrumental for his clients’ as an additional resource in achieving their results. Jon was a member of Villanova University’s Men’s Soccer where he was a three-year starting goalkeeper for the program and a Big East All-Academic All-Star. Presently, he serves as the Co-Founder and President Emeritus of the North/Central New Jersey Villanova University Alumni Association and remains part of the soccer program as a member of the Board of Directors. He has also studied at New York University’s Real Estate school where the comprehensive curriculum includes economics, market analysis, valuation, finance and investment, law and taxation.
