Ron Shuck is the Director of Information Security at Curo Financial Technologies Corp, a rapidly growing financial services company most commonly know for their Speedy Cash locations. His department provides security services, such as firewall, intrusion prevention, anti-virus, PCI compliance, risk and vulnerability assessment, and identity and access management. Prior to joining Curo Financial Technologies, Ron was the Global Computing Security & Network Manager at Spirit AeroSystems, the world's largest supplier of commercial airplane assemblies and components. At Spirit, he managed the security and network services teams. Ron has over 28 years experience working with enterprise networking and UNIX based systems with an emphasis over the last 15 years in information security. Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wichita State, and his Masters in Business Administration from Friends University, both Summa Cum Laude. Ron and his wife do not have any children, but he keeps busy playing guitar and helping his wife with her pottery business. Ron also participates in the security community as founding and current president of the Central Plains Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
