My work is a game, a very serious game. - M. C. Escher (1898 - 1972) And that is exactly how I perceive work. I believe that by seeing the fun in challenges set for me, I will have the motivation and determination to put my best foot forward in tackling them. Responsibility and results will definitely not be compromised while appreciating the process. I have a strong foundation in investment operations with a key focus on undertaking projects in operational reviews, system and website enhancements and testing, policy reviews and other adhoc assignments. These projects allowed me to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. I have honed my leadership skills in various key positions in CCAs in school, through many planning roles allowing me to coordinate manpower, managing budgets and setting timelines. In the work environment, I have further tuned this skills and have groomed direct reports and guided other junior staff. I continue to have a strong passion for learning and have upgraded myself with skills in statistics software such as basic Tableau and SAS skills through self study and applied them to projects. I also continue to seek to improve my financial qualifications and am currently pursuing a CFA. My skills and experiences are coupled with a strong drive, and I relish the challenges that a meaningful career can bring.
