As an Independent Director and a Commercial Financial Controller, I have over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and project management across various industries, including engineering, FMCG, and media. I hold the credentials of CIMA and ChPP, which demonstrate my professional competence and commitment to high standards and ethics. I am passionate about driving business improvement and delivering value to stakeholders through strategic planning, implementation, and reporting. I have successfully led and supported multiple business-critical projects, such as the merger and centralisation of Costain's finance function, the adoption of IFRS and its annual updates, and the development of a financial awareness course for Costain's graduates. I have also developed and maintained systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial and management information and compliance. Additionally, I have contributed to the social and environmental impact of The Hospice Lottery Partnership, which supports 26 hospices across London and the Home Counties.
