There will be opportunities to work at all stages of the development cycle including design, implementation and testing as well as providing feedback to evolve our development processes. Concentra's number one requirement is for people with a passion and enthusiasm for technology as this is the foundation of our business. Strong communication skills are required to maintain professional relationships with our clients and also communicate technical and complex problems to other employees. You should be able to learn new skills and must be able to understand our client's business objectives. You'll also have the chance to work with cutting edge technologies including Microsoft Betas and will be given time to research and assess new technologies such as NoSQL technologies, PDW and the latest Data Visualisation tools. Our primary technical skills include Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx PostgreSQL and Pentaho. All developers are encouraged to become certified in our core technologies and ample training opportunities will be provided. Graduate developers are required to have achieved (or be expected to achieve) a strong degree (2:1 or above) from a leading university in computer science or related field and in addition, an 'A' grade at Maths or Computing Science is highly desirable. Some commercial experience is preferable but not necessary as is familiarity with Data Warehousing methodology. Concentra will provide you with the skills you require to progress in your career, whether that is the technical skills required to work in some of the most demanding environments, the personal skills needed to lead or extensive business knowledge.

With over 18 years of experience in consulting with A.T.Kearney and Concentra, he blends a deep understanding of board level business issues with new data driven methodologies to give real and sustainable business impact. He is married with 3 boys. Being from New Zealand, he has a passion for rugby which he also coaches. Other interests include IronMan distance triathlons and writing. He has an MSc in Economics, with a focus on Micro general equilibrium modelling and game theory.
