There will be opportunities to work at all stages of the development cycle including design, implementation and testing as well as providing feedback to evolve our development processes. Strong communication skills are required to maintain professional relationships with our clients and also communicate technical and complex problems to other employees. You should be able to learn new skills and must be able to understand our client's business objectives. You'll also have the chance to work with cutting edge technologies including Microsoft Betas and will be given time to research and assess new technologies such as NoSQL technologies, PDW and the latest Data Visualisation tools. Our primary technical skills include Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx PostgreSQL and Pentaho. All developers are encouraged to become certified in our core technologies and ample training opportunities will be provided. Graduate developers are required to have achieved (or be expected to achieve) a strong degree (2:1 or above) from a leading university in computer science or related field and in addition, an 'A' grade at Maths or Computing Science is highly desirable. Some commercial experience is preferable but not necessary as is familiarity with Data Warehousing methodology. Concentra will provide you with the skills you require to progress in your career, whether that is the technical skills required to work in some of the most demanding environments, the personal skills needed to lead or extensive business knowledge.

Chris is the product architect behind OrgVue with over 18 years of experience in software product design and development. He is responsible for envisioning the design or OrgVue, for leading the architecture and development teams and for the continuous delivery of OrgVue. Chris brings executive experience in building successful products in areas as diverse as online gaming, corporate portals, and file system virtualisation. His vision is to build business modelling tools that redefine the ease of use, analytical power and adaptability of browser based products, combining the art of data visualisation, the science of data analytics, the expressiveness of domain specific languages, the agility of networks and the design of great user experiences. Chris brings a hybrid knowledge of today’s leading SaaS and data science technologies, a passion for data visualisation and a deep understanding of modern security concerns into the ongoing innovation of OrgVue. Before entering the field of software product development, Chris was a geologist – a profession which taught him the power of data visualisation and the importance of the scientific process in all engineering endeavours.
