A talented hands-on manager, architect and engineer with over 15 years experience leading the development teams of several commercially successful products. Possesses extensive experience architecting and implementing complex, high performance, web-centric, SOA applications. Specialties: • Organizing, leading, managing and mentoring cross-functional Agile development teams (Certified Scrum Master). • Developing great products that enrich people’s lives with little or no requirements, only a great vision is required. • Architecting and writing high performance and scalable software applications that process millions of transactions per day. • Expert knowledge in transit industry data sets including transit schedules and data collected by transit vehicles. • Java and C++ • Software requirements analysis and written specifications. • Object-oriented analysis, design and programming of multi-threaded distributed applications, executing under Linux/Unix and Windows. Includes extensive use of threads and inter-process communication methods and principles.
