Christina Turner is a finance student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she recently transferred from Sacramento State University. She currently holds an Associates of Science in Business, and an Associates of Arts in Social Sciences. Christina works as a Community Development Specialist for the City of Danville. This position allows her to engage with her community and make a positive impact in the place that she calls home. She is experienced in Federal grant reporting, financial management, project planning, competitive bidding, contract writing, and overall community development. Christina has spent countless hours devoting her time to volunteering for Robla School District with a variety activities ranging from grading papers to leading extracurricular activities, and even helping the children produce Glenwood Elementary School’s tiled alligator mascot mural. She also has spent many hours volunteering to help the homeless population by providing meals, clothing, hygienic materials, and friendly conversation. She spends much of her time outside of work producing empowering photography that is published in artistic magazines, Christina is passionate about learning new technology and software, because it allows her to delve in her passion of finance and the arts.
