I'm a passionate technologist and engineer who loves both being technical and coding while also working on high-level engineering problems such as hiring and building teams, scaling engineering practices in high growth environments, cloud architecture and best practices, and creating the next generation of engineering leaders through mentoring and management. I'm a huge believer in compassionate and empathetic leadership and transparency in organisations. I try to lead in the way I would want to be managed, drawing on all my experience from companies large and small. I generally work with platform and internal technology teams such as Data Teams, Business Intelligence, and Developer Productivity and Tooling. I've always loved being an engineer and I love creating teams and products where engineers are our customers, and certainly they are some of the most discerning customers you can get when it comes to their tools!
