Dr. Bobb is President of "Vanessa Toney Bobb, MD,PhD", a psychiatric consultation firm, which specializes in diagnostic and safety evaluations. She is also a psychiatrist at Childrens Aid Society. Dr. Bobb is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with clinical experiences in Columbia and Cornell University Hospital systems, New York State's Office of Mental Health and with the Administration for Children's Services. Dr. Bobb has treated and provided consultation for youth and and adults with complex psychiatric co-morbidities. She completed Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry Residency Training at New York Presbyterian Hospital and completed a Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Columbia University. Dr.Bobb received an MD,PhD from Brown University. Dr. Bobb has served as clinical faculty to the child and adolescent fellowship program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and has lectured at Columbia University Public Psychiatry fellowship program and New York Presbyterian Hospital's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program . Dr. Bobb's clinical and academic interests include mood, anxiety, developmental disabilities, psychosis and attention deficit disorders, as well as public, community and international health. She has presented at local, national and international conferences, developed workshops, and published in academic journals on topics related to mental health and culture, self-esteem in minority youth, early onset schizophrenia and school based programs (i.e. cognitive behavioral therapy and HIV prevention). Dr. Bobb is past Secretary of the Black Psychiatrists of Greater NY and she is an Executive Committee member of New York Public Psychiatry. Dr. Bobb is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
